Job Title: Family Medicine Physician/DO

Job Summary:

The Family Medicine Physician/DO at Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. is responsible for providing direct patient care and consultation services for adult patients. The Physician practices in a team-based care model, collaborating with other team members to provide comprehensive care.

The Physician is responsible for timely follow-up of specialty referrals and diagnostic testing, prioritizing quality care measures as identified by the organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides comprehensive physical assessments and evaluates patient care outcomes.
  • Prescribes or recommends treatment, including pharmaceutical therapy, physical therapy, and related procedures.
  • Participates in performance and quality improvement activities to assure quality patient care.
  • Orders and interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Provides same-day care as required and refers patients to other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements:
  • Current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
  • Current prescriber number and DEA/CDS license.
  • Board certification or eligibility in family medicine/primary care specialty.
  • Insurability (malpractice).
  • Current CPR certification and ACLS or Advanced Life Support within 12 months of employment.

Working Conditions:
This position operates in an outpatient office environment, requiring frequent interaction with patients, team members, and other stakeholders. The Physician may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations.
