Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Moonlight Companies. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a powered industrial truck to load and unload materials and deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and transport materials and equipment to designated areas in the facility, adhering to production schedules and inventory control instructions.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring secure and accurate handling.
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in bins around the storage facility, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions and ensuring optimal storage capacity.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks, including recharging the industrial truck's battery and performing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • High degree of attention to detail and safety awareness to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions for operating equipment and maintaining accurate records.
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly pay rate ($16.00 min - $17.75 max)

This position may encompass other duties than those listed above. Alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
