Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Gerawan. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a powered industrial truck to load and unload materials and deliveries, as well as moving them to and from different facility areas.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Obtain a copy of the production schedule and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks.
  • Move goods packed on pallets or in bins around the storage facility.
  • Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
  • Check loads are secure.
  • Stack empty pallets.
  • Perform daily equipment checks, such as recharging the industrial truck's battery.
  • Dump materials into machine hoppers.
  • Other duties will be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
