Medication Aide Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medication Aide to join our team at The Willows at Bellevue. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by the attending physician.
  • Maintain accurate resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Examine and identify medications brought into the health campus by new residents.
  • Contribute to a caring and compassionate environment where residents feel valued and safe.
  • Follow health campus policies and procedures regarding medication disposal.
Requirements:
  • Certification through the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) as a QMA (Qualified Medication Aide) or CMA (Certified Medication Aide).
  • Experience as a QMA or CMA in a long-term care or home care setting is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
