POSITION OVERVIEW

The Branch Manager is accountable for overseeing the effective and efficient daily functions of a comprehensive service branch, which encompasses operations, lending, product sales, customer relations, as well as security and safety measures in alignment with the objectives of Lendmark Financial Services. This role involves cultivating new business opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service, and fostering a sales and service-oriented culture through effective coaching, guidance, and staff motivation. Additionally, the Branch Manager is responsible for achieving both individual and branch sales targets through new business development, referrals, and maintaining strong account relationships. Leadership, training, and supervision are key components of this role, with day-to-day operations delegated to the Assistant Branch Manager or other branch staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and inspire staff to achieve targets related to branch profitability, loan volume, credit quality, delinquency rates, and expense management.
  • Make informed loan decisions within established lending limits, finalize consumer loans, and manage accounts in more critical stages of delinquency while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Actively seek out business development opportunities within the community. Promote products and services to fulfill sales objectives.
  • Oversee hiring, staffing, training, performance evaluations, and terminations as necessary. Set lending authority for team members.
  • Ensure a high standard of client service. Assist clients in implementing solutions and monitor overall satisfaction levels.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or relevant training
  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field
  • Skills in personnel management and budgeting
  • Strong communication, organizational, and sales abilities
  • Proficient in industry-related loan software, as well as Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience within the financial services industry
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Willingness to relocate
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Standard office setting
  • Occasional travel may be required, including overnight stays
