Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Fitness Instructor to provide state-of-the-art group exercise instruction at the Kroc Center. The successful candidate will develop and instruct fun, energetic, and highly motivational exercise classes for all fitness and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and instruct group exercise classes for diverse fitness levels.
2. Educate participants on safe exercise techniques and monitor safety.
3. Verify class participants' rostering and collect drop-in fees.
4. Assist in fitness assessments, orientations, and tours.
5. Contribute to the development of systems ensuring facility safety and equipment maintenance.
6. Utilize office support systems for timely and accurate record-keeping.
7. Maintain the attractive appearance and operational function of fitness facilities.
8. Collaborate with the facilities department on preventative maintenance.
9. Oversee the work of assigned aides and ensure participant safety.
10. Participate in designated staff training and professional development courses.

Requirements:
1. Must be at least 18 years old for instructor position.
2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
3. 1+ years of experience teaching group exercise programs.
4. First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification for Adult, Child, and Infant within 30 days of hire.
5. Current certifications through ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or NSCA preferred.

Working Conditions: This role is performed in an office environment at normal room temperature, with occasional outdoor events and community center activities. The noise level is usually low to moderate.
