Job Title: Construction Materials Driver
Job Summary:
Convoy Supply Construction Materials is seeking a self-sufficient and motivated Class A/B CDL driver to join our team in Vancouver. As a Construction Materials Driver, you will be responsible for delivering construction materials to our customers in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
* Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
* Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
* Load and unload materials
* Comply with company and government regulations and rules
* Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
* Match shipments to sales invoices
* Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
* Operate truck safely
Requirements:
* NCCCO Certification and experience in operating cranes
* Clean CVOR abstract
* Prefer a minimum of 3 years driving experience
* Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
* Passionate about great service & teamwork
* Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Experience in the construction/roofing business would be an asset
* Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 75 lbs.
* Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
* Read and write in English, spoken Spanish is an asset
