Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist in our Respiratory Care Services department plays a vital role in administering respiratory care to adult, geriatric, and neonatal patients. This includes oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, electrocardiograms, and mechanical ventilation. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in an emergency or trauma setting. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure are required. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week, with every-other-weekend requirements and occasional call shifts.
