Job Overview

As an Emergency Response Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of participants by being prepared to act in emergencies, providing first aid, and maintaining a secure environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
  • Utilize a smartphone or tablet to access work schedules and manage assignments during shifts.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions, either in-person or online.
  • Foster a safe, inviting, and engaging atmosphere for youth athletes.
  • Possess reliable transportation to travel to various game and practice locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification or equivalent. Certifications in Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or similar are preferred.
  • May need to successfully complete job-related performance assessments as part of the hiring process.
  • Experience as an athlete and a passion for outdoor activities. Previous experience working with children and teenagers is preferred.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Work Schedule

  • This is a flexible position requiring a minimum commitment of 2 days per week during the summer season and/or 6 hours per weekend throughout the rest of the year.
