Lead Technologist-Interventional Radiology Specialist

As a Lead Technologist-Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of interventional imaging services. This includes ensuring quality imaging, patient care, and workflow, as well as monitoring patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Serve as a resource to department staff and other team members as needed.
- Perform staff orientation, training, and coaching, and provide input to staff performance evaluations.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areas, and other areas in the department.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
- 1 year of experience required.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by ARRT. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the IL Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with Radiologic Tech registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
