Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining scanned copies of PPAP packages and ensuring they are organized and readily retrievable.
  • Managing the PPC/PPAP database to ensure annual PPAP recertifications.
  • Attending APQP and Engineering Change Meetings as needed.
  • Maintaining parts item master from all Engineering Changes.
  • Assisting with ETR/PTR coordination and preparing proper documentation.
  • Assisting in Engineering change process runs.
  • Attending Product Audit reviews.
  • Assisting in capability and Gage R&R studies.
  • Assisting with new product launches.
  • Supporting other quality aspects as needed or assigned by the Quality Manager.

Requirements:

  • Associate's (2-year) degree; or equivalent related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of various processes and manufacturing systems.
  • Knowledge of IATF-16949 systems and advanced quality planning tools.
  • Understanding of AIAG PPAP manual and customer PPAP requirements and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) for PPAP requirements.
  • Able to understand and utilize SPC, Gage R&R's, and Capability Studies.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, AS400, IMDS, Covisint, etc.
