We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Pathologist to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our Department of Laboratory Medicine, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic services in Anatomic Pathology and the Clinical Laboratory, as well as contributing to the academic mission of Laboratory Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic services in Anatomic Pathology and the Clinical Laboratory, including sign-out responsibilities for Anatomic Pathology and Hematopathology.
- Contribute to the academic mission of Laboratory Medicine, including support of translational research and training of Pathology/Laboratory Medicine residents.
- Work with staff in the laboratory to ensure procedures for clinical testing are appropriate and meet accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with other UCSF faculty at Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland and San Francisco sites to implement the academic mission of Laboratory Medicine.
- Board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- California medical license or eligibility.
- Subspecialty board certification in Pediatric Pathology or Hematopathology (strongly desirable).
