As a Pediatric ER Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:
* Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting, including assessments, medication administration, and developing care plans
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
* Adapt quickly to different units, including NICU and PICU, as part of the float pool responsibilities
* Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
* Demonstrate proficiency in pediatric emergency care procedures and protocols
* Uphold infection control practices and adhere to facility policies and guidelines
Requirements:
* 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
* Current CA RN license
* AHA BLS certification
* Ability to work in a float pool and adapt to NICU/PICU environments
