The Clinical Specimen Collection Specialist is responsible for executing laboratory procedures, which include various specimen collection techniques such as venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection guidance, and specimen culture collection instructions.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant program, including clinical training, or prior experience in phlebotomy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • National certification in phlebotomy.
  • Experience in a clinical environment.
