Emerald Health Services is seeking a Travel - Interventional Radiology Technologist

Shift: Days / 8a-6:30p, 10x4, 40 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday. No weekends. Days off may rotate, with potential on-call duties and shift floating as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with routine and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established protocols for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain a smooth operational flow and maximize patient volume.
  • Scrub in and assist the physician during procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
  • Position patients accurately and select appropriate radiation exposure parameters.
  • Uphold a high degree of accuracy and awareness of radiation and patient safety during invasive procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Current California License.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient angiography settings.
  • Fluoroscopy Permit required.
  • Valid CRT and ARRT certifications.
  • BLS certification.
  • Advanced ARRT certification is preferred.
  • Experience in Level I Trauma and teaching hospitals is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with trauma, stroke, neuro, and CT procedures is preferred.
Additional Information:

This role requires participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
