Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Manager for the Parts, Materials and Processes (PM&P) organization responsible for product parts, materials, and process engineering/management across the Sentinel Program supporting all Segments.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading program technical teams on complex and large integration programs. As responsibilities span across a diverse set of stakeholders, this leader will be expected to collaborate effectively and partner across organizations while ensuring day-to-day functions of the organization assigned to execute mission objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Define operational strategies by working with program management and technical leaders on special projects.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
  • Navigate ambiguity and develop a systemic approach and strategy to address and solve problems.
  • Build relationships and effectively communicate to influence and ensure accountability across a network of stakeholders.

This position includes Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities including schedule management, labor forecasting, risk management, and performance management. Proven Earned Value Management (EVM) experience and the ability to assess program issues and develop resolutions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of experience; or Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience.
  • An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

Experience in Parts, Materials and Processes (PM&P) type work on large military programs or similar, with a minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position and experience directing multiple teams, with demonstrated ability to coach mid-level managers and individual contributors.
