Job Responsibilities:
Conduct a variety of preventive and routine maintenance tasks and repairs, including basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or carpentry work. More complex tasks will be referred to experienced maintenance personnel.
Key responsibilities include responding promptly to equipment failures, focusing on resolution to minimize production interruptions.
Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on shop equipment efficiently.
Document repair times and maintenance tasks accurately.
Reliable attendance is crucial to support all operational areas.
Perform general housekeeping duties within the facility.
Ability to work on ladders and at heights up to 30 feet.
Assist in the fabrication and assembly of production tools as necessary.
Support rack building and tooling requirements as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Trade school training or equivalent experience of 2 years is required.
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
Job-Specific Skills:
Ability to perform repairs and tasks safely with minimal oversight.
Knowledge of lockout/tag-out electrical and other safety protocols.
Capability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
Basic welding skills with wire feed, TIG, stick, and torch equipment.
Strong math skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and adherence to instructions.
Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Capacity to work independently with little to no supervision.
