About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Associate to join our team at Barge Design Solutions, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will assist Senior Engineers in the development and design of documents and other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for projects.
  • Client Communication: May assist in client contact and communication, and attend client meetings as needed.
  • Project Planning: Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and tests to plan and design projects.
  • Design and Documentation: Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
  • Site Visits: Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested by Senior Engineers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Certifications: Engineer Intern/Engineer in Training Certification required.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
