Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Heartland Consulting. As a key member of our risk management practice, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of risk planning activities for new requirements, projects, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead risk planning, development, and execution efforts for new projects, requirements, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify, assess, and analyze risks to determine potential impacts on project objectives and mission success.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, monitoring their effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to refine and execute risk management processes.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on risk-related policies, frameworks, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and create comprehensive risk documentation to inform leadership decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in the risk management field.
- Demonstrated experience in risk planning, development/refinement, initiation, and execution for new requirements, projects, procedures, and/or guidelines.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
- Location: Candidate must be located in the DMV area. Telework options are available.
Salary:$100,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
