Job Summary:As a Travel Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and interpreting images to aid in diagnosis. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray machines
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
- Interpret images to aid in diagnosis, including identifying abnormalities and recommending further testing or treatment
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and diagnoses
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
