Job Overview

Automotive Office Supervisor

  • Collaborates with the financial Controller to oversee the accounting systems and personnel across all dealership locations.
  • Provides essential support and direction as required.
  • Oversees the daily functions of all accounting departments and Controllers.
  • Responsible for daily reconciliation of the company’s bank accounts.
  • Prepares and submits necessary reports to the corporate office consistently.
  • Reviews financial statements and ledgers, working alongside the accounting staff at each location to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensures the smooth operation of payroll functions and collaborates with the corporate office to address employee-related issues.
  • Handles Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Manages Deal Costing in conjunction with Manufacturer Statements (experience in billing out car deals and title work is advantageous).
  • Cross-trained in all accounting roles to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in automotive finance, accounting, or as a Controller.
  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting.
  • Strong communication, customer service, leadership, and organizational skills are essential for the Assistant Controller role.
  • Excellent analytical skills are required.
  • A supportive and approachable leader for the team.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
