Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. As a Nurse Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for nursing staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with experience in long term care settings. You will be responsible for creating and delivering educational content, evaluating program effectiveness, and providing feedback to nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
  • Create and deliver educational content, including presentations, workshops, and online modules
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide feedback to nursing staff on their performance and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure educational programs meet the needs of nursing staff
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing education
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing education or related field
  • Current RN licensure in New Jersey
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing education, preferably in long term care settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
