Job Summary

The Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in Mount Sinai Wellness Center's mission to inform the community about its programs and services. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement events, training and education programs, and building relationships with community partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and public-speaking skills, as well as experience in developing and maintaining webpages, social media, and graphic design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community engagement events to raise awareness about substance use disorder and mental health
  • Design and deliver training and education programs for community partners and volunteers
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support outreach efforts
  • Support the development and implementation of media campaigns to promote Mount Sinai Wellness Center's services
  • Recruit and retain volunteers and donors to support outreach efforts

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Social Services field, such as Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Experience in community engagement and outreach, including event planning and program development
  • Excellent research and public-speaking skills, as well as experience in graphic design and social media management
