We are seeking a skilled Cable Assembly Technician to join our team at Teledyne FLIR LLC. As a Cable Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for preparing cables and connectors for potting and molding, priming products with metal and jacket primer, and verifying quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cables and connectors for potting and molding
- Prime products with metal and jacket primer
- Verify quality
- Set up machines and equipment
- Assure timely and accurate retrieval of necessary materials
- Anticipate shortages in components
- Maintain time and production records
- Assist in maintaining equipment and tool cleanliness
- Inform management of hazardous conditions
- Maintain Teledyne standards of performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to apply common sense in performing job
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to use basic high school math skills
- 2-4 years of cable assembly experience
Physical Demands:
- Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
- Ability to move and lift up to 50lbs or more
- Good vision, including passing color blindness test
