About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Director of Planning and Analysis to join our team at PENN Entertainment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for fostering a fun and engaging environment, promoting a positive influence in the community, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement measurable business performance evaluations aligned with property goals and objectives.
  • Analyze and interpret statistical data to identify trends and relationships, and provide actionable recommendations to Executive Management.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to evaluate programs and discuss potential return on investment.
  • Oversee the Warehouse/Receiving operating department and ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare data for processing, checking for inaccuracies and adjusting as needed.
  • Design research projects that apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information obtained from baselines or historical data.
  • Develop an understanding of fields to which statistical methods are to be applied, ensuring methods and results are appropriate.
  • Responsible for the annual Company Budget and Capital Plan, inclusive of planning, executing, and reporting on variances from actual operating results.
Requirements
  • Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Cognos Bi, and Cognos Controller.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Three to five years of experience in marketing, planning, and/or a finance environment, with three to five years in the gaming industry required.
  • MBA preferred.
