At Enable Dental, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing dental care to patients in a public health setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with experience in preparing patients for dental procedures, taking and developing dental X-rays, and chairside assisting the dentist or dental hygienist. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing dental care to patients in a public health setting
  • Preparing patients for dental procedures
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays
  • Chairside assisting the dentist or dental hygienist
  • Cleaning and polishing teeth
  • Applying fluoride treatments
  • Instructing patients on oral hygiene
  • Maintaining dental records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active X-ray Certification (or) Active CA RDA license
  • At least two years of experience working in a dental setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • State Driver's License and clean driving record

Job Summary:

  • Full-Time, Monday-Friday work days, 4 10-hour shifts per week (no weekends for a great work-life balance)
  • Ability to drive company minivan + Valid driver's license + clean driving record required
  • COVID-19 vaccines or valid exemptions required
  • Active X-Ray Certification (or) Active California Registered Dental Assistant / RDA License
  • Rate: $40.00/hr (negotiable)
