Job Summary:
At Kaiser Permanente, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner III to provide high-quality respiratory therapy care and life support to patients in various medical departments, including neonatal intensive care, under physician supervision.
This role requires a professional who can maintain a high level of patient comfort and care flow, while upholding the organization's policies and procedures and relevant laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory therapy care to patients of all age categories, evaluating their response to therapy and documenting accordingly.
- Recommend respiratory care services based on patient needs, participating in patient care rounds and critical care teams.
- Conduct respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, maintaining equipment and adhering to safety measures.
- Document patient care accurately and timely, maintaining patient and employee confidentiality.
Requirements:
- 1 year of recent NICU experience, with a graduate degree from an approved 2-year Respiratory Care program.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner License and certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PALS and S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification.
- 2 years of recent NICU experience.
