Job Description

The Justice Center Counselor will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing treatment programs for jail inmates
  • Providing mental health and substance use treatment in individual and group settings
  • Collaborating with justice center staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or PhD in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology, as well as experience working with individuals with significant trauma and its effects. We also require knowledge of substance abuse and addiction treatment, crisis intervention, and suicide assessment.
