We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Specialist to join our industrial division. As a Healthcare Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical services to our clients.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for healthcare and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting medical screenings, including functional physical placement testing, vital sign measurements, and medical releases. You will also assist with inventory processes, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining equipment cleaning/sterilization procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical screenings, including functional physical placement testing and vital sign measurements
  • Assist with scheduling candidate appointments and making follow-up phone calls
  • Interview candidates, measure vital signs, and record data in the candidate's chart
  • Perform medical screenings such as urinalyses, breathing and hearing tests, and using other diagnostic equipment
  • Accurately document candidate data into the proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Pre-employment testing, Functional Medical Testing, Medical Assisting, or another related field
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
