Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide medical care for skilled nursing residents in a Long-Term Care Facility/Nursing Home in Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN to join our team and contribute to providing superior care to patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel, coordinating care delivery, and ensuring that patients' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of the Practical Nurse Act of Pennsylvania.
  • Effectively communicate with all members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Administer medications and injections, take vital signs, perform basic diagnostic tests, and dress wounds per health care provider's orders.
  • Observe, evaluate, and report changes in patient symptoms, condition, or reactions to medications or treatments.
Requirements
  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
  • Valid CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Current TB Testing Documentation.
  • Current Physical Examination.
