Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to join our team at Soliant in a school-based setting. This opportunity involves working with a K-12 special education program, focusing on students with support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Provide high-quality therapy services to students in individual and group settings, promoting effective communication and language development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development and ensure a cohesive educational program.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational programs, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field of speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to enhance student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State licensure in California, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of educational programs and policies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
