Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Ascend Rehab Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to deliver therapeutic services to children in a school environment.
If a school setting is not your preference, we also cater to children in diverse environments, including home-based services, outpatient clinics, and inclusive preschool programs. Ascend is a multidisciplinary organization that offers Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
We provide mentorship and support, fostering an environment where you can learn, grow, and make a significant impact on the lives of children across California.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of varying ages.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of clients.
- Conduct therapy sessions aimed at enhancing clients' speech and language abilities.
- Track clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and educators, to create comprehensive care strategies.
- Offer guidance and support to families and caregivers of clients.
- Maintain precise and current documentation of clients' progress and treatment results.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Preferred prior experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
