Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory, including Chemistry.
- Determine the suitability of specimens for analysis and prepare them for testing.
- Prepare reagents and primary reference materials as needed, calibrate and maintain instruments, and verify correct operation.
- Identify and correct common problems, obtain analytical data, and correlate results.
- Conduct quality control procedures and maintain records for quality assurance reports.
- Prepare specimens for transport to other laboratories or for mail-out.
- Dispose of biological waste properly.
Qualifications
- Degree: Associate's degree or higher.
- Education: Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
- Certification: Certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologist (AMT).
- Experience: One year of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
