Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manuals to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment.
- Diagnostic and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with relay logic circuits, starters, motors, electrical metering, and measurement devices.
- Conduit and Wire Installation: Construct and install both metallic and non-metallic conduits, bus ducts, and wire raceways.
- Control Panel Design and Construction: Design and construct control panels.
- Schematic Creation and Update: Create and update schematics.
- Electrical Testing and Maintenance: Utilize various electrical and electronic testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators, in daily tasks.
- Code Compliance: Stay current with the National Electrical Code.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and mend electronic controls, circuits, circuit boards, and components.
- Programmable Controller and Machine Tool Maintenance: Address issues with programmable controllers and machine tools, including NC, CNC, and DNC equipment.
- Hazardous Materials Management: Manage and clean up hazardous materials safely.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Adapt to new methods and procedures as needed and assist other skilled workers when necessary.
- Predictive and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance checks and repairs.
- Documentation and Training: Document maintenance activities and report on predictive and preventive maintenance, and provide training to new trainees as required.
- Inventory Management: Order necessary replacement parts and materials.
- Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training relevant to the position.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep a stock of necessary parts and materials and safely operate material handling equipment and man lifts, adhering to Plant Safety Rules and OSHA standards.
- Work Area Organization: Keep equipment and work area tidy and organized.
- Productivity and Quality: Perform tasks to the highest standards of productivity and quality as an Electrician "A" when required.
- Experience: At least four years of verifiable experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance: Available after 30 days.
