Medical Assistant Float Specialist

As a Medical Assistant Float, you will provide direct administrative and clinical support to medical providers in order to provide optimal patient care and maintain visit efficiency. This includes preparing for patient visits, assisting providers with routine office visits or in-office procedures, and completing administrative and follow-up tasks to further assist patients with their needs.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to medical providers, including preparing for patient visits and completing administrative tasks.
- Assist providers with routine office visits or in-office procedures, including taking vitals and obtaining medical information.
- Complete follow-up tasks to further assist patients with their needs.
- Develop and maintain effective organizational and time-management skills to ensure efficient visit flow.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic computer skills and medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding.
- Problem-solve and multi-task in the work environment to ensure seamless patient care.
