Job Title: Tier II / Configuration Management Network Technician

Job Summary:

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Tier II / Configuration Management Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our National Security Team, you will support the Intelligence Community by providing, operating, and assuring critical voice, video, and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date records of all system components, including hardware and software.
  • Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
  • Establish and maintain consistency of system or product performance, functions, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information.
  • Draft and implement standard network change requests.
  • Coordinate with external Configuration Management stakeholders across the ecosystem where required.
  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
  • Develop policy for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items.
  • Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching.
  • Utilize complex network analysis tools to identify and correct problems in the network.
  • Familiar with Layer 3 protocols and network management tools.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in network configuration and management.
  • Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
  • Knowledge of Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS OS.
  • Familiarity with network automation tools.
