Job Summary

Ebenezer is seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our senior assisted living residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal cares, including bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.
  • Under the direction of a Nurse, provide health-related services as needed, such as passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Perform duties that include laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.
  • Observe residents and report their status to appropriate staff.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and coworkers.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and support others.
  • Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.
  • CNA certification if under 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course.
  • Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA.
