Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the foodservice marketing strategy, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the creative development of marketing campaigns and programs, including media planning, research, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with the media and digital department to develop and execute the annual media plan for foodservice.
  • Manage foodservice web development projects in collaboration with the digital team.
  • Oversee AFM's foodservice concept across various channels.
  • Manage key marketing programs and communication vehicles to drive awareness of AFM's resources and programs.
  • Oversee all marketing assets production and aid in the creation of general marketing, sales materials, and customer presentations.
  • Support the business development team to develop selling stories and marketing strategies that drive the inclusion of fresh avocados on menus.
  • Lead the program development and curriculum of our B2B education resource training program.
  • Own the tracking and control of effectiveness tools, budgeting, tracking, reporting, and research management.
  • Aggressively grow the business by driving and implementing strategic initiatives to reach the company's volume goals.
  • Lead foodservice research and transform insights into actionable new fresh avocado opportunities/projects.
  • Represent the foodservice department in the company Center of Excellence for research and insights.
  • Own all educational & editorial photo/video shoots from concept to execution.
  • Stay connected to the industry with field visits, trade show attendance, etc.
  • Collaborate with the PR department to plan and execute foodservice PR events and programs.
  • Manage the oversight of the foodservice marketing agencies, including the annual contract and budgeting process.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging marketing trends, best practices, and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years' experience in foodservice marketing and/or advertising.
  • Strong digital knowledge and experience.
