We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Doctors Medical Center of Modesto. As a Trauma Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, coordinate, and provide individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Graduation from a nursing program.
- 1 year of experience in an emergency department or 2 years of experience in telemetry.
- Current California RN license.
- ACLS and PALS certification (new graduates must obtain within 3 months of hire/transfer).
- TNCC certification (new graduates must obtain within 12 months of hire/transfer).
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module completion within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit.
- ENPC and MICN certification per clinical ladder requirements.
- CEN certification preferred.
Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood-borne diseases. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness). Emergency and crisis situations. Subject to irregular hours. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. Occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances, and biohazards.
Compensation$96.12 hourly. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience.
