Recruitment Specialist / Entry-Level Recruiter This role involves managing a significant volume of candidate applications, so it is essential to submit your resume and application promptly.

Remote (Hybrid Work Available)

Contract Length:
Initial 6-month term with opportunities for extension

Salary Range:
$25.00/hour - $38.00/hour

Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card Holder, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Overview

The Recruitment Specialist will operate within established guidelines to assist in recruitment activities by engaging and evaluating candidates for entry-level and high-volume roles.

This position will provide support for inquiries related to recruitment or organizational policies and procedures. The role will be performed under direct supervision, handling routine tasks and problem-solving to assist team members. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment using various sourcing methods aimed at entry-level and high-volume positions.
  • Develop a fundamental recruitment strategy to assist business leaders in their hiring requirements.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with team leaders and senior colleagues regarding workflow.
  • Occasionally contribute to Talent Acquisition initiatives, including process enhancements and projects.

Collaborate with senior colleagues and team leaders to stay informed about changes in employment laws, policies, and procedures.

Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and industry regulations.

Facilitate a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, with support from senior colleagues as needed.

Participate in recruitment events and community outreach to enhance candidate sourcing.

Acquire and apply foundational knowledge of the organization and its processes, programs, and policies.

Seek guidance from senior colleagues to resolve issues, identify appropriate matters for escalation, and obtain direction on policies or processes.

Keep candidates updated on their application status through consistent communication during the hiring process.

Present competitive compensation packages and collaborate with Compensation & Benefits when necessary.

Work with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to identify gaps in hiring processes and implement recruitment solutions.

Maintain regular communication with talent pipelines as applicable.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Entry-level experience in a relevant field, including knowledge of applicable employment laws.
  • Understanding of effective screening and interviewing techniques.
  • Basic proficiency in technology, including relevant recruitment software and tools.
  • Developing knowledge of sourcing tools, techniques, and technologies.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Familiarity with Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Affirmative Action Plan, and other state regulations governing recruitment and talent acquisition practices is preferred.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.
  • Preferred: Entry-level experience in staffing and recruitment, with knowledge of applicable employment laws.
  • Preferred: Experience in financial services and understanding of banking processes and services.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and within a team environment, to achieve objectives.

Demonstrated skill in tactfully and effectively interacting in challenging situations.

Basic ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.

Basic ability to exercise initiative and use sound judgment in decision-making.

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
