Job Overview
Under direct supervision, perform essential clerical and routine administrative support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Issue parking permits and temporary access passes.
2. Enter parking violations and manage ticket payments.
3. Conduct basic administrative tasks, including drafting routine correspondence.
4. Welcome visitors, manage phone inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
5. Organize and prepare incoming and outgoing mail, including faxes.
6. Carry out basic research and compile routine statistical reports.
7. Process appeals and maintain accurate records.
8. Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
9. Coordinate equipment maintenance as needed.
10. Help organize meetings or workshops, including reserving and preparing venues.
11. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; no prior experience necessary (on-the-job training provided).
- Proven experience in delivering effective customer service.
- Familiarity with office practices and procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in using various software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and presentation tools.
Special Conditions:
- This position is security-sensitive as defined under applicable regulations; the selected candidate will undergo a criminal background check as required by law and institutional policies.
- The organization is creating a pool of candidates for part-time staff roles. This pool will be utilized as openings become available. Applications will remain active for approximately one year.
