Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during morning and afternoon bus routes
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students to travel to and from school
  • Assist students with special needs as required
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass a job-related health screening
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Must clear a current background check through the FBI & DOJ
  • A current TB test (within 2 months)
Working Conditions

The Bus Aide may encounter a noise level that is usually moderate to loud and, from time to time, can be emotionally unsettling. While performing the duties of this job, the employee needs to be able to carry, push, pull, and move objects, e.g., student desks, chairs, and boxes. Requires frequent and prolonged bending, stooping, crouching, walking, and standing.
