Job Overview

Role Summary: Oversee the Catering Department staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and service at events under the guidance of the Catering Director. Responsibilities may include transporting food and beverages to various functions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise catering staff and assist in performance evaluations.
  • Assess workload requirements based on catering requests.
  • Collaborate with event leaders to finalize setup details and address any last-minute adjustments.
  • Coordinate the assembly and delivery of food and supplies for scheduled events.
  • Ensure the return of food, beverages, and serving equipment to the catering facility.
  • Gather and manage customer feedback through comment cards at events.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
  • Engage with customers to resolve any complaints in a courteous manner.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols in food handling and equipment usage.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be necessary. Candidates must possess or be able to obtain any required food handler's or alcohol server's permits as mandated by state regulations.
