Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Professional. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in financial services, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Financial Professional at New York Life, you can expect a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000-$150,000, plus bonuses and incentives based on performance. Additionally, you will be eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, a pension plan, and a 401(k) savings plan.

Job Responsibilities

As a Financial Professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Selling our products to clients and building strong relationships with them.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new clients and grow our business.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track sales and customer interactions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, business, or marketing.
  • Proven sales and leadership experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Bonus and Incentives

In addition to your base salary, you will have opportunities to earn bonuses and incentives based on your performance. These may include:

  • Commission-based income for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bonuses for recruiting and developing new agents.
  • Additional compensation for achieving specific business milestones.

The average income among our 579 recruiters at all levels in 2022 was $240,000.
