Job Summary: The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review production schedules and orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
- Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.
- Organize materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to specified criteria.
- Fulfill requisitions and distribute items to production staff as needed.
- Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping.
- Label materials with appropriate identifying information.
- Open containers and record quantities of materials received or distributed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock arrangements.
- Utilize computer systems for record-keeping and order processing.
- Drive vehicles to transport items as required.
- Complete requisition forms for supply orders.
- Prepare parcels for mailing and assist with other duties as assigned.
