Key Responsibilities:- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and accurately document observations.
- Identify and address the educational needs of patients, offering necessary guidance.
- Promptly communicate any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
- Develop and regularly update individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and patients to ensure effective care coordination.
- Administer medications in a safe manner and monitor patient reactions.
- Provide supervision and support to patient care technicians as required.
- Exhibit strong leadership abilities and effective conflict resolution skills.
Mandatory:
- Valid Illinois Registered Nursing license.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least two years of RN experience in critical care or specialized nursing units.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience in non-critical care settings.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- National certification in the relevant specialty area.
