Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Legal Clerk to join our team in the Corrections Division of the Placer County Sheriff's Office. As an Administrative Legal Clerk, you will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including reviewing legal documents, typing legal correspondence, and issuing and processing various legal applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process legal documents, including warrants, bookings, and court documents
  • Prepare and issue various legal applications, such as search warrants and arrest warrants
  • Sort and file legal documents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Corrections Division, including answering phones and responding to emails
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience performing legal clerical duties, such as reviewing legal documents, typing legal correspondence, and issuing and processing various legal applications
  • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
