The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in acute care nursing and leadership skills.

Job Summary

The Assistant Director Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cardiac cath lab procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the cardiac cath lab department, including staff supervision, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and The Joint Commission.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to promote efficient operations and effective nursing care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, including training and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines and promote cost-effective practices.

Requirements

Minimum Education


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Bachelor's degree required (in nursing preferred)

Required Licenses/Certifications


• Current state or compact nursing license, BSN required or enrolled within 6 months

• BCLS

• Any other certifications staff nurses in area managed are required

Preferred Qualifications


• Master's degree in nursing or related field

• Experience in cardiac cath lab or related field

• Leadership and management experience
