About the Role

As a Case Manager with The GEO Group, Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) participants by providing case management services and ensuring their successful reintegration into society.

Purpose of the Job:

  • To develop, implement, coordinate, review, and update individual service plans for ISAP participants in accordance with state and federal regulations and program requirements.
  • To conduct regular face-to-face meetings with participants to monitor their progress and provide guidance as needed.
  • To maintain accurate and complete case records for all ISAP participants from entry to release from ISAP.
Key Responsibilities

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting intake interviews and orientation sessions with each ISAP participant within contractual timeframes and requirements.
  • Installing electronic monitoring equipment on ISAP participants as necessary and monitoring compliance with the electronic monitoring program.
  • Assisting ISAP participants with acquiring travel documents from their countries of citizenship and maintaining a log of travel document information for each participant.
  • Evaluating English proficiency of ISAP participants to determine resources necessary to promote clear communication between ISAP staff and participants.
  • Connecting participants with community resources, including transportation, medical care, food, shelter, clothing, education, financial assistance, legal aid, religious support, and other social adjustment or facilitative resources.

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Show a commitment to working with diverse populations and addressing their unique needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, government officials, and community partners to ensure the success of ISAP participants.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • At least two years of customer service or case management experience, preferably in fields related to law, social work, detention, corrections, or working with multicultural clients.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
