FMC Ice Sports is a leading operator of public ice skating arenas in Massachusetts. As a Junior Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality ice sports facility management and operations.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Junior Instructor. This part-time position involves assisting groups and related lessons for FMC's learn to skate, learn to play, and/or figure skating programs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service skills to control customer interactions.
  • Educate the public on safe ice activities and enforce rink policies and operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Program Supervisor or Instructor in a timely fashion.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and perform any other related duties.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience assisting or teaching skating classes (preferred).
  • The ability to ice skate proficiently and achieve passed ISI Freestyle 3 or USFS Freeskate 3 certifications.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $15-20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
